Some trees are more than trees.
They’re the maple that shaded the cottage for generations. The tree the kids climbed when they were small. The old pine beside the house that was there for every summer, every gathering, every ordinary day — until one day, it had to come down.
If you have a tree with a story of its own, Wooden Ink may be able to preserve part of it as an original hand-pulled print.
Every piece of wood is different, and not every slab can be printed. Age, decay, softness, cracking and other factors can affect whether a usable impression is possible. Before I can say yes to a project, I’ll need to see the wood and determine whether I think it can be prepared for printing.
